Dr. Jerry D. Long, DVM, MS

Veterinarian

Dr. Long opened the Country Veterinary Clinic in 1976 specializing in large animal medicine, but his love for ALL animals soon changed that. The practice has evolved over the years to fulfill his client’s and patient’s needs. What that looks like now is predominantly treating small animals, exotics, and livestock. The Country Vet and Dr. Long have been a pillar of the community for years, he loves supporting local 4-H and FFA organizations as well as donating his time to local equestrian events and his church community. When Dr. Long is not busy working in the clinic he is busy maintaining this beautiful property with his Australian Shepard, Tilly, by his side. Or, you might catch him taking care of his cows or helping his wife Tee, daughter Holley and granddaughter Austin with their horses.
